Doorbell girl

I’ve always been too lazy to scan images but yes, I did it! Made some minor corrections in Photoshop. Oh and I’ve been practicing with my #stuckbetweenmyshadowsandme project again. I am getting better! This painting was made with Schmincke Watercolors (my favorite).

Finally no jitter issues anymore + new digital drawing!

I have had troubles with jitter lines when I was using my Wacom Cintiq Tablet. Since then I didn’t use it very well because I really hate squiggly lines. But after I made a really cute drawing on paper I really NEEDED to make it digital. So I started searching again for fixing the issue. And I found it! After trying out all the driver versions on the Wacom website, it didn’t work. Only the link with version 6.3.17 worked.

First, read this post. And instead of the version she says you should be installing, install this.
Also, use the tip from this post and turn double click distance off.

AND I’M SO HAPPY! It looks so pretty and everything worked! I also tried out the new drawing program Krita for the lining and I really adore it! The coloring is done in Photoshop with Kyle’s Ultimate Real Watercolors Tool Preset which you can buy here. I am still in search of the best photoshop outlines that run smoothly. So if you have any tips, do tell!

What do you think?!

I’ve been a little absent lately. It’s because I’m in the middle of taking a leap of faith and try to figure out what it is that makes me happy. Well, drawing and painting is something I really love to do but I need some help.

What I did was registering myself at Patreon. For the ones of you that don’t know what it is. Don’t worry, I didn’t either. It’s a network of artists that other people want to help by giving money to accomplish their dreams.

For me this is something I wanted to try because I could use some help to find my own style as I’m already trying to do with this blog. By having more time and the money, I can grow more and faster in finding my own style. By supporting me, you’re giving me a step up and I can dedicate more of my time to grow. Off course you get to see my drawings and progress first and you get to see me grow because of you!

Want to help me out? You are my saving angel.

Painting decease

I’ve got the painting decease, since I’ve got my new Schmincke paints..

Because I am now using tubes, I have to be very gentle with my paint without spoiling anything. This is my love, so I’m not spoiling ANYTHING. Everything will be of good use. But I didn’t have a paint palet or at least not with 18 boxes to put my paints in without contaminating them.

So I went to the city but couldn’t find anything that was what I was looking for. And because it’s Sunday here, our local craftshop wasn’t open. But since I’m very craftful (if I say it myself) I found something BRILLIANT to use for my Schmincke tube paints. It’s actually a pill container and it works even better (and it’s cheaper). The best thing about it is that you can close the paints and it will stay wet! Whutttt!

The left painting is just for fun. The right is a #Humanfacesstudy.

It was a good day.. Yes.. A good day!
